History

PRS used to be about steering gears, but over time we have become so much more:

PRS Power Steering started in Lygon Street in Brunswick in 1995.  Working from the back of a shared factory, we soon built a reputation for great service, reliability & quality.  Many of the customers that we started the business with are still with us nearly 20 years later.

After working in and around the northern suburbs of Melbourne for 11 years, we decided to relocate the business to Alice Springs. 

PRS has evolved  from being a supplier of steering gears for passenger vehicles to providing solutions to heavy vehicles & trucks and a range of industrial services.

In 2011 PRS began to get involved in assisting businesses manage their compliance obligations through vehicle hoist, pressure vessel & boiler inspections.

PRS prides itself on being able to respond quickly to the needs of business and in 2014 we made the change to PRS Business Services and began offering a range of business services to provide an outsource option to build in-house capability.
